Critical Path Institute’s Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment Consortium is thrilled to welcome Veeva Systems and VPG Health as its newest members.
Veeva Systems’ vision is to “Build the Industry Cloud for Life Sciences” via software, data, and business consulting for R&D, quality, and commercial. Veeva Systems strives to be an outstanding and highly strategic partner to the life sciences industry across its most critical areas, from clinical through commercial. Having established their industry presence with their market-leading eTMF product Veeva Vault, the Veeva Clinical Platform today incorporates a broad suite of products including eCOA.

VPG Health as regulators move to ensuring that outcomes used to define endpoints in clinical trials are patient-centered, it is increasingly important that the various types of evidence needed to demonstrate patient-centeredness within the modern validity framework are available to support a given measure. This includes evidence available in the scientific literature (i.e., summarizing previous research), evidence from qualitative research obtained by talking directly to patients/clinicians/caregivers, and quantitative/statistical information about how the scores from a measure perform empirically.
VPG has experts in generating evidence in all these areas and a vast body of experience in crafting high-quality documents that thoroughly, but concisely, summarize available evidence for a variety of stakeholders.
The eCOA Consortium is powered by providers of eCOA technologies and allied services who support the collection of COA and DHT-derived data in clinical trials. These industry leaders work in a pre-competitive environment in which a critical mass of experts can collaborate to develop standards, conduct research, design and deliver educational opportunities, and define the best practices for the electronic collection of COA and DHT-derived data.
Welcome, Veeva Systems and VPG Health!
