C-Path Board Member Dr. Robert Califf Confirmed as New FDA Commissioner

Statement from Critical Path Institute Board Chair Wainwright Fishburn on the Senate Confirmation of Dr. Robert M. Califf, MD, MACC, as Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Feb. 15, 2022.

The Critical Path Institute (C-Path) congratulates Dr. Robert Califf on his Senate confirmation as Commissioner of the FDA. Dr. Califf has been a valued member of the C-Path Board and Wainwright Fishburn, C-Path Board Chair, observed, “For decades, Dr. Califf has been an influential voice stressing the importance of public-private partnerships to transform data for the accelerated development of new patient-centric medical products.
