C-Path is pleased to welcome Ramona Belfiore Oshan, Ph.D., as the new Associate Director for its Duchenne Regulatory Science Consortium. D-RSC is currently engaged in several modeling projects of biomarkers and outcome measures, all at different stages in development and regulatory review, as well as development of a platform trial protocol for Duchenne and considering a new patient reported outcome instrument. Dr. Oshan will be working in a hybrid scientific director and project manager role to keep the consortium momentum moving forward.
She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Catania in Italy, and has held post-doctoral research positions, most recently at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her research has focused on ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Oshan brings a diverse skill set to C-Path, in addition to this relevant scientific background, she has done classes in project management and science writing.
