Our Support

Critical Path Institute (C-Path) was launched in 2005 with a five-year commitment of more than $10 million in pledges from the Arizona community. In addition, Science Foundation Arizona (SFAz) has awarded C-Path over $14 million to build upon the community’s initial investment, making it possible for C-Path to create public-private partnerships that enables the biopharmaceutical industry to work closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The first legislation sponsored by Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords created the FDA’s Critical Path Public-Private Partnerships enabling the FDA to partner with C-Path and partially fund its efforts.
This early support for C-Path has enabled it to become firmly established and recognized as an organization with a track record of successful accomplishments. C-Path receives roughly one-third of its revenue from federal grants, one-third from private foundations that partner with C-Path to accomplish specific missions, and one-third from industry membership fees.

The steadfast support of the community, the passion and dedication of our scientists and staff, and the trust of our stakeholders have enabled C-Path to become an internationally respected global organization that is fulfilling its mission of accelerating the path for better therapies.
